Status of the project

 

 

Our sculptor David Seagraves helped present a visible presentation over the 2008 annual Let Freedom Ring celebration and grand parade.

The committee and alumni volunteers worked hard to put together a Mounder Float with the full size clay version mounted majestically on our float for his ride through Mt. Morris.

We were honored to receive “The 4^th of July Committee Choice Award” for best float! The $50.00 award went straight into the Mounder fund!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The committee also manned the Mounder Tent on the campus, and sold ‘Mounder Pride’ T-shirts made possible by a donation from M&M Super Mart’s Phil and Michelle Messer.

We sold out and were able to deposit over $3,000.00 in total donations from the ‘Let Freedom Ring Project’ and class Alumni Associations over the 4^th.
