Currently she is on the Adjunct faculty, Davenport University, Holland campus. Volunteer activities include Henderson Settlement, Frakes, KY Sept. 2007 & 2008, home repair projects with her church outreach group, KidsHopeUSA at Holland Heights Elementary and tutoring. She is also involved in various activities to raise money for scholarships and community projects. Laurie's four grandchildren all live in the area. |

Dave is retired from the national council of the Boy Scouts of America after 36 years of service. He is now working part time with a company that helps non-profit organizations. Dave is also writing a book on the natural and cultural history of Philmont Scout Ranch, a 137,000 acre facility in the mountains of northern new Mexico. Beside several volunteer jobs Dave finds time to paddle his kayak and fish in the 45 acre lake on which their house fronts. |
